The new sensor with CMOS technology based on the “Digital Pixel System®” (DPS) platform, Pixim’s patent, denotes an important innovation of the video technology. Pixim created an image capturing and processing system able to generate high quality images with big dynamic range.

The huge dynamic allows to capture highly contrasted images by getting high quality images. Each pixel is equipped with a dedicated analogue-digital converter, which capture and manage the information in independent way, for this reason each pixel operate as a single camera. The ex position of each pixel is adjusted in a unique and sole way, thanks to the matrix direction of the sensor elements. A camera with a sensor belonging to this generation, works ad thousands of single cameras, each one produces the best possible image. All those mini images are combined to create the single frame, which will create the high quality result.
